This program is 7 days on the road in Tanzania with 3 nights in the Serengeti. In the wildest and perhaps the most diverse scenery, find lions climbing trees or tremendous elephant walks in the bush or a host of animals that live inside a dead volcano. The second destination will be the famous Serengeti National Park where you will get to see one of the largest populations of animals in the world, which is about 3 million. You will have thousands of fascinating experiences and perhaps you will our fortune favor you and get a glimpse of the Big Five!

Welcome to Tanzania! You will be transferred by an African Magic representative to your accommodation in Arusha after arrival at the airport. Depending on your arrival time you will hopefully have some time to rest before the great adventure has begun.
The bustling town is an essential component of the safari destination in Northern Tanzania and most of the tourists have their necessary stop here.

Today, your Lion King safari guide will pick up from your lodge or home after breakfast. Today you will take a car drive to Tarangire National Park this morning. The transit drive is approximately two and a half hours on good tarmac roads but slippery during rainy season. It derives its name from the Tarangire River that passes through the park. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. This park is famous mostly for the elephant families that can be easily spotted near the river. You may also see the giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are trailed by other predators such as the lions and the leopards. Amazing fact: Tarangire boasts more breeding species of birds than all the other places in the world. There are also very huge and old baobab trees one can see here. It is said that some of them have been in existence for more that a thousand years.
Lunch will be taken at the picnic area found inside the park. After your game drive, you will transfer to your preferred lodge in Karatu.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will have to drive higher and higher into the high-altitude Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Also, there will be an opportunity to make a stop and visit one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World – Ngorongoro Crater. You will then move to Ngorongoro Conservation Area then down to the southern part of Serengeti National park.
The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is well known for the large uninhabited savannah that offers the perfect environment for the observation of wild animals. While it is famous for its wildlife, it is more famous for the great migration of animals. Countless wildebeests, zebras and antelopes migrate in a cyclic rhythm in their eternal search for food. It can every be at any given month it just depends with the area you are located at.

Entire day is provided for game drives in the area commonly referred to as the Serengeti. Serengeti is home to various animals such as impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos among others. Especially the landscapes are uniquely found including the lions, cheetahs and leopards and there are high chances that you will see these animals. If you are to witness the Great Migration, you might need to step out of the Central region to watch this marvel. It is one of my greatest accomplishments and one of the things that changed my life.

Your final sunrise in the Serengeti! In the following morning you will start your way towards Ngorongoro Crater but there is still more wonder in store for you!
Ngorongoro Crater is hidden behind the high ring of cliffs and is another area of untouched plains, dotted with patches of black manioc woodland, star-like lakes and marsh. It was formed two to three million years ago after a large volcano erupted and then caved in.
Getting into the crater is actually quite an experience on its own. Once you arrive at the bottom of the crater, you will struggle to count the number of wildebeests, zebras, or gazelles that populate the area, to say nothing of the over 500 bird species. The crater upon offering the best chance of observing the black rhinos that are considered endangered you might spot one in the grasslands occasionally.
With all the sight-seeing you have been doing inside the crater and perhaps even climbing up it, it’s time to drive to your lodging in Karatu.

In the morning, you will proceed on a road trip to Lake Manyara National Park. Your final destination on this epic safari! Manyara is a small but diverse park which is located 120KM to the west of Arusha. All that will be presented here is on a whole another level. It is also small (this is one of the slimmest parks in Africa) and grand (The Great Rift Valley Escarpment borders the Lake Manyara park to the West). The park is named after a shallow salt water lake. It is one of the largest expanses in the park that floods and dries depending on the season and is a sanctuary of thousands of wading birds like the world famous flamingos and well over 500 species of birds. One can sight animals like baboons and elephants in the park within the thick evergreen forest and also get to watch the lion that climb trees which is a feature the park is well known by in the whole of Africa.
You will take lunch, during which you will be inside the park.
